Phishing URL Detection Using Encoded-Decoded Transformer Based Models

Developed and evaluated phishing URL detection models using Encoder-Decoder Transformer on a dataset of 651,191 URLs. Conducted data preprocessing, filtering, and balancing using SMOTE, and implemented multiple training scenarios with and without hyperparameter tuning. Achieved the best performance with 97.45% accuracy and 96.84% precision.
